Ginataang Ampalaya

Ingredients:

1 coconut
3 moderate sized gourd
2 cloves of garlic
Salt for the taste

How to Cook:

  • Wash and slice the ampalaya ¾ then remove seed. Do not wash anymore after sliced. Make a coconut milk using 2 cups of hot water. 
  • Cook the coconut milk together with the chopped garlic and sliced ampalaya .
  • Continue to cook, until ampalaya become tender.
